Who can participate?
You can participate in the Eating Free coaching program if you are over the age of 18 years. Group coaching is also offered for friends and family members.

Promote a quick-fix weight loss solution by prescribing what you should eat, how much you should eat, and when you should eat.
The Eating Free program does not include:
Weight-loss or body measurement targets.
Food restrictions or special diets.
'Good or bad' foods.
Healthcare professionals referral policy
Eating Free is not a medical program. It is carefully designed to complement any support you may need from a healthcare professional such as a doctor, dietician or diabetes educator. If your health is under threat, coaching will be paused until your health has stabilised.
Why was Eating Free created?
Eating Free was founded by someone who has personally overcome food, eating, and weight challenges and now provides compassionate support to make sure others don't struggle for as long as she did.
About the Eating Free Founder and Lead Coach
Alexandra van Essche, founder and lead coach of Eating Free, is passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food and rebuild trust in their bodies.
Certified Diabetes UK counselor.
Advocate with SA Diabetes Advocacy.
Lived experience achieving optimal diabetes control and full recovery from her eating disorder.
Become a coach
Graduates who sustain their Eating Free lifestyle for a year can qualify to become coaches after completing the necessary training and other requirements.
